Geschirrspüler Bosch SPU2432SK/04

Hello.

Sorry for using English! Please reply in German, I'll translate it for myself.

I have a 12-15 year old BOSCH SPU2432SK/04 (which is the same machine as SIEMENS LADY 45 of same age) which had a leaky Aquastop Ventil BSHG 091058, I bought a new one and replaced it, and the ventil now works great.

The old aqua stop valve leaked when machine was off, so that water in the side tank would spill out between the tank and outer shell and into the bottom tray, closing the float switch.

Now that the tray is emptied and the valve works, the program dial has problems. If I set the machine to program 1 (longest program), it will take in water, wash, pump out the water, take in new water and then stop right before program 2. If I start from program 2. the machine will go through to the end properly.. except, sometimes it will not empty the last set of water, so the program ends with water still in the bottom of the machine, but not always.

So the QUESTION is, would a new programmer/motor fix the problem? The type is Ako 514501 T70

Thank you!

A friend told me that the #1 program is SUPPOSED to stop just before 2? I've never had a Siemens or Bosch before and I cant find the manual.

The machine looks almost exactly like this: http://www.top-bazar.cz/foto/1036342009-…dy-45-sirka.jpg

If anybody can find the manual, english, german or finnish. :Kopfklatsch:

You could start a new thread under the folder Bedienungsanleitungen.
The member"Kees" would help you,if he can, perhaps with a user manual in english.

Thanks! I also tried searching using Siemens Lady 45 but the machine is so old there probably is no electronic version of the manual. I always keep my manuals but I bought this machine used/broken from somebody else. The type of this bosch is Typ S4R5B and the Siemens Lady 45 would be something like S4R65S

I did some further investigation:

-The drain pump (laugenpumpe) EBS 25565102 pumps water just fine, but when it ejects the water and starts pumping nothing/air, it makes a buzzing/rattle sound like a bad ball-bearing. I opened the bottom but the pump is like the fuel pump of a car, with a vibrating rubber membrane instead of any spinning parts, so I suppose it should make that sound when pumping nothing.

-BUT, occationally the pump doesnt do anything during a part of the program where it should be pumping out water, it just makes a low hum or buzz like a transformer or fluorescent light. It also seems it doesnt have any sensor to detect when its pumping nothing instead of water, the programmer/schaltwerk just runs it for as long as it takes to move to the next part of the program.

So which do you think needs replacing, LAUGENPUMPE or program dial SCHALTWERK? ?(

Thanks!

Update:

A while back I was lucky to get a reply from Mr. Loewe who offered to sell me the programmer/schaltwerk and drain pump from a NEFF machine that was a couple years younger than my BOSCH.

I installed both replacement parts and the machine now works perfectly. The drain pump is a little quieter, and the replacement part had noticeably less slack in the rotor/bearing and wasnt as blackened on the inside of the motor cylinder as the original. The original pump probably still worked properly though.

The replacement programmer is stiffer and sounds better when turning the dial, and I suspect the drain pump sporadically not emptying the machine properly was caused by the programmer's faulty/worn electric contacts.

FIXED!
